This non-stick tawa from VINOD is lined with high-quality Teflon. The coating is PFOA-free, which means that this cookware is free of foreign elements that can affect your food and health. Moreover, the Teflon base is scratch-resistant and goes well with metal spoons. Thus, you can make healthy food on this tawa, with minimum use of oil.
This product is made of hundred per cent virgin aluminium, which is further strengthened by various means. Swiss technologies are integrated to make this tawa as three layers of metal and coating brace up the lifetime and functionalities of the product. The layering distributes the heat throughout the pan, to ensure that your food is cooked properly and not burned.
A strong metal handle is added to the base of the tawa for better handling. These handles are installed with three rivets to ensure that it does not get loosened over time. They are insulated with bakelite polymer that is heat-resistant and non-wearing. For a comfortable cooking experience, the handles are designed to fit the curve of your palm.
While the flat base of the tawa provides stability on a gas burner, the special magnetic bottom makes it compatible with induction ovens. As the multi-layered utensil retains heat and evenly distributes it, you can easily cook crispy dosa, paratha, roti, and other recipes. The increased diameter of the tawa ensures that the batter spreads evenly and the food is cooked properly.
As the high-quality non-stick coating ensures that no stubborn residue is left, maintaining this product is easy. Cool down the tawa before cleaning it with water. You may use any dishwashing soap or liquid to wash the product. In case of a greasy blot, you may soak the area with a mild solution of baking soda and vinegar.
