I am writing this review after using this TV for now close to 3 months.
In 3 Months two different issue reported in this TV.
No doubt about Flipkart about the service but unfortunately very much disappointed with the Product.
First replacement was done within 15 days from the day its installed due to sound issue reported.
Second issue reported on TV screen panel and as because its completed the 30 days time Flipkart is not assisting to get this TV replaced, when contacted to the VU custome...

I scanned for more than two months in the market and on net and then settled for this Model. Compared to all brands like LG, Samsung, Sony this model gives same or enhanced quality output @ lower price with 4k and smart functions..Another major differential is that compared to Micromax 49 inch 4K,VU is hardly higher by Rs.1000 in terms of price and with one inch lesser in size. But VU is in class with overall body panel being A +standards and robust build up internally, better connectivity in...

1. There is no optical out
2. DLNA does not work.
3. No My Screen feature as mentioned.
4. Normal Sound
5. Picture quality aright.
6. HDMI input is downwards, you hv to tilt TV to plug in.
7. dongles will not fit in downwards HDMI like Chromecast i have
- had to use connector to fit.

6. Wifi for internet works.
7. Other features like direct connect did not work.

All you get is 48 inch TV.

If you just looking for a UHD Display then you are at the right place. Though spec says, it’s not SMART at all. Requires a geek to utilize some of the SMART features of the TV and would still end up unsatisfied.

Color reproduction, contrast ratio is up to the mark.
There is no app store. So you need to download and install apk manually.

Hi guys this is nitin i have buy this product on 9/aug/2015 .
The video Quality (UHD) is awesome
but sound is not good you have to attached 2.1 or 5.1 speaker for more sound clarity
remote looks cheaper as chinese remote cosyin 10 RS/-
bu overall TV is good for money for watching UHD videos with home theather system.

Pros
1. Good quality and clarity. especially 4k playback makes it best.
2. Quad Core processor giving it more performance in gaming and 4k playback.
3. Wifi is stable and keyboard/mouse is working great.

Cons
1. Not smarter enough has stock android that is booting over a chinese recovery.
2. No inbuilt bluetooth and Usb bluetooth dongle is not supported either.
3. No Expandability. Not supporting the external hard disks.
4. No Playstore... but successfully installed aptoide and able to insta...

I Got This TV at first instance on 27th April 2015. But just After Installation It WENT OFF !!!!

I had a Samsung 32 inch HD ready and have replaced this with VU 4k 42 Inch TV.

My review after using this TV for more than 30 days now.

1. Delivery was well on time.
2. Installation happenned the very next day...the person who had come to install were well informed about the product and gave a demo as well.
3. This is 4k TV...but I have not yet tested this with any 4k picture as of now.
4. The remote quality is pathetic...looks like a Rs 10...built in China.
5. The internet browsing is OK ...

This is my first smart TV. I did a lot of search and had almost made up my mind on getting the micromax TV, when negative reviews started pouring in. That's when I came across this American brand that I was familiar with. After weighing the pros and the cons, I felt this was value for money and got this TV sometime during May 2015 and timed it to happen during my relocation. My experience was as below:

Flipkart delivery: Flawless and on time.

Installation: Seems to be done by a vendor. ...
