Synopsis and Features

The demon army of Burning Legion is intent on acquiring power in the land of Azeroth and will destroy anything and everything that lies within its path to obtain it. This has led the Orcs to become a corrupted race who will stop at nothing. Bringing different races together like the dwarves and the elves, humans have to form a coalition called the Alliance. Defeating the Orcs and ultimately the Burning Legion, the Alliance has to put an end to everything that is wrong and untrue.

Developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is one the biggest game released in the last decade. The minimum hardware required to play the game smoothly on your computer are Windows 98, an active internet connection, a Pentium II 400MHz or AMD Athlon equivalent processor, 700 MB of hard disk space, 128 MB RAM and a 8 MB RAM equipped NVidia or ATI Radeon graphics card.

The single-player campaign in the game will take you through an array of missions which will unravel the cursed story of Azeroth. There are 4 different factions in the story and you can control all of them. You progress from controlling humans to the Undead then to the Orcs and in end control the Night Elves. The ever changing environment with different characters provides an energetic and exciting gaming experience.

Each of these factions has some groups such as elves, dwarves, trolls, taurens, warrior druids and many more. Each faction will have a hero which is unique to the faction. You can recruit 3 heroes in one faction, depending on how well you are playing the game. The heroes in this game include pure fighters such as orc blademaster, support fighters such as human paladin and a castor who casts magic spells. Each of these heroes’ advances quickly depending upon the fight you put them in.

Gain enough experience and your one hero can take out an entire horde of enemies. This makes for an action-packed gameplay experience as you can make your hero stronger than any unit in the entire game. If you are a big fan of creating your own maps and sharing it with friends, you can do it in Warcraft III as it features a fantastic world editor. With the help of this feature in the game you can unleash your creativity to its absolute maximum.

Online Features

Multiplayer is more fun in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos as you can use the heroes featuring in single-player campaign. This will give your opponents a run for their money as you can beat them down easily with your level 48 orc blademaster anytime. You can even use maps created in the World Map editor to play against others. You can compete with others using Battle.net or LAN.
