WD Blue SSD 250GB(3D NAND) 2.5inch Form factor. Works for PC and laptops.(As it is WD's mainstream SSD better than WD Green entry level SSD, but if you want very high end gaming performance then go for WD black SSD)
This SSD/all others SSD with 2.5inch form factor supports both SATA 2 & 3. They're forward and backward compatible.

This is an excellent product from WD
I have used as a replacement to my old laptop Hard Disk. I use Windows 10 and old HDD slowed down performance of laptop.
The new WD Blue SSD 250 GB works really well.
Booting time is reduced.Apps run faster. Also the laptop heats a lot less.
I also did a RAM upgrade alongwith SSD replacement.
Significant improvement in performance.

Honestly speaking. I really like this one .Got this for my dell 15 3000 series laptop. Speed is really good I can say about 3.5x fast than normal hdd. Booting time changed from 3 mins to 22 secs. I wish I could have brought the 500gb variant.A great deal after all.

Just wow!
I can feel the change. It's buttery smooth and freaking responsive. Loved the way my PC just grown miles faster.
Note - I moved my HDD to caddy drive and it's functioning way better than earlier too.

A:Yah obviously you can use it for your Lappy. You just have to remove your optical drive (cd/dvd) and buy a care case optical bay 2nd hard drive 9.5mm cd/dvd slot and place the ssd into the case. Enjoy
