    Using this product for last ten days continuously. It is running smoothly. For 1 TB, one will get 931 GB which is common. Speed varies on types of files, number of files, type of USB port using, System config etc. . For video file of size 2.02 gb , PC to HD speed avg 81 MBPS and from HD to PC avg speed 96 MBPS using USB 3.0 port. But what I disliked is its hardware part. It seems very fragile.     Overall a good purchase.

    Good backup HDD. 5TB worth of space is very good.
    For the disadvantages-
    1. LED indicator is very dim now.
    2. Drive runs hot, about 48~49.C when doing large backups.
    3. Write speeds are less than expected, About 40 to 45 MB/s. Perhaps due to SMR tech.

    Overall a good purchase.

    Actual Storage is 4.54 TB = 4540 GB
