About the Authors

Justice Leila Seth was the first woman judge of the Delhi High Court and the first woman to have become the Chief Justice of a state in India. She retired as the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh in 1992. She was a member of the 15th Law Commission of India and was involved with several human rights activities. She has also authored On Balance.

Bindia Thapar is a professional architect and an illustrator by choice. She is renowned for her illustrations in children’s books. Some of the books are Introduction to Indian Architecture, The Magic Raindrop, and The Runaway Puppy.
