A great book in every way. Intelligent and interesting plot. Great rhyming make for a fine read. The illustrations are lovely and the glittering ladybird on every page makes heighten the visual appeal to another level.

This book can be read over and over again with a smile assured every time. Julia's spun her magic yet again!

If you are a book lover and like to spend time in selecting a really nice book for your child, you can go for this one. Great plot with a twist, Donaldson knows the magic of writing stories for children. Preschooler son was engrossed in the story, I also plan to use it in my school and I know the children will love it too.
Just a note that the book is a board book, not hardcover.
