It's a sort of autobiography, which begins with the questions like, "Who am I?", "Why am I here?" ,which might have troubled the minds of many, till the journey now ends. There is no such great achievement of the author, who has ever found a place in the pages of any history or some such material means, by getting which people should feel proud of themselves, but a normal human mind, whatever he wants in life, so much so. That is why it would be closer to the truth to call it the autobiography of people at large, which represents a common mind of India, where both the Guru and the disciple have spent a large part of life in the household only.
