Premium processor on a limiting display.
It's ridiculus when the processor is powerful enough to play 1080P videos, what good watching them on HVGA display.The modem is too good, but does it make a difference in India, because most operators have not upgraded to offer HSPA+ speeds and even if they did, they are pricey.Because of that 7.2 Mbps or HSPA+ does not matter to the customer. Xolo X500 - Another good mobile
First of all,as always, great service from Flipkart! :)
As mentioned in another review, the X500 is manufactured by Intel (Intel Semcon, Hong Kong as mentioned on the product box pack). It is imported by Lava International. As i understand, the same device is launched by a company called Safaricom in Africa.
Pros
1. A good form factor - not too big, not too small
2. Capacitive multi-point touch, smooth and responsive
3. WiFi connection is extremely fast

Very good build quality for this price. Amazing touch screen response
Bought this to evaluate the touch screen performance. The device ships with developer firmware allowing you to turn on debug options (CPU usage, touch points and GPU control).
This is an extremely well built device for the price. There are not many visible changes to the basic Android UI, so this looks and feels almost like a standard Google Phone, comparable to the Nexus S running Android 4.0.
The dual SIM UI is very clear and easy to use.

Perfect except ..
phone has awesome features but.. it would be better if this phone has secondary camera and 4 inch display. plus the price should be 1k less then current price. else this phone is perfect as compare to other samsung, htc, sony, nokia phones of same price range.

Best Smart phone
First i thank flipkart for the nice service. Got the mobile 4 days back.
This is what i experienced when i used it:
Pros:
1. The Antutu benchmark score was "12808" which is really a good score for the price.
2. The device is capable of playing and recording 720p, 1080p videos flawlessly.
3. IPS display is just awesome. The display is really good even though its resolution is 320X480.
4. Supports up to 10 point touch !! (anyways we won't use all our 10 fingers at a time :P).

A great phone with Full HD, Dual-Sim at 8K range
Excellent Phone that serves all my needs & gret delivery as always from Flipkart. tested almost all aspects. Great network quality, Records excellent HD videos & stills. great Internet experience,FAST. Android and DUAL-SIM. Great Job by Intel.
And the most important aspect is price. Why do I have to go for so called smart phones @21K plus price range when an 8K priced phone can do all that. I felt really smart after this purchase ;)

Seeing the specs.....i can say that its the best phone available within 10k range....

Excellent performance but a low-res display.
The phone is brilliant in terms of performance, and looks like Intel/Lava got it just about right.
Pros:
1. It really does support full HD 1080p videos with no lag whatsoever. And Temple Run 2 runs super smooth too.
2. A stock ROM of Android ICS 4.0.4 with almost no customization, which is very pleasing during phone usage. Zero lags during usage.

Great phone at great price
My requirements for the phone was simple. It should replace my Blackberry Torch. My usage pattern is for emails, calendering and calls. I am not a gamer at all. In fact I rarely played the default games provided on my BB. After going through Samsung's and Sony's of the world I came across this phone on Intel's website and thought to give it a try.
