The Best in Every Aspect!
I am using this system past two years. It has improved my experience of listening to music.
The retro looks with a clean sound will amaze you every time you use.
One advice, don't tweak the volume to the full for a longer time as this system is meant for a small enclosed area like your room or lobby.
I did blast this on my friend's bachelor's party and the sound quality did dropped! I now miss the original sound.
Verdict: go for it for the design,style and above all, the Sound!

Excellent Stereo System
I was interested in a micro hifi system for my bedroom though I had a plan for big floorstanding system for the hall, and after several days research it seems the mcr-040 is the right one for me. I tried to find one to audition before purchasing but couldn't find this in any electronics store in Pune. I have purchased this little gem from Flipkart. Very fast shipping, packing and communication.
This music system shows how overrated Bose Wave is. at almost half price of bose wave 3, this sytem delivers much better bass , comparable treble AND lets you dock ipod ( you have to buy an optional accessory for Bose), FM stations ( bose lets you 6) ... great choice of colours.
Only gripe is you can't change FM without remote .... top product

Very good sound output for the price and size
I was in the market for a boombox sort of CD player but seeing the size and great reviews for the price had no hesitation. So far I've played on music CD and my reference now is Bon Iver and the Yamaha really brought out all the sounds very nicely even at a high volume. The balance between the base and treble required no adjustment for my ears. I would recommend this product any day for this price. Best Mini Hi-Fi or iPod Dock
I bought this offline before it came to Flipkart.
This is a great mini Hi-Fi - the looks and the performance. Most hi-fi will put off the ladies but not this one.
The USB-browsing options via the remote is bit difficult but the rest of the functions - CD, FM, iPod and line-in - are all great.
The sound is crystal clear and you can hear every little sound that you would have otherwise missed in other devices. Bass is great.
