The fabric is nice, light and soft. I was worried seeing the fur fibres that came loose, but those actually came from the unstitched sides. The fabric base actually holds the fur tight so that it doesn't come off from anywhere else. Not to worry about that. My upholstery project using the cloth came out really well and it holds shape too. Mighty happy with the product
