Penny saved is a Lava earned ? Awesome phone.
This is the latest offering from an Indian OEM and just like others was a little apprehensive. But then I we change phones like we change clothes these days, so why not go ahead. Mind Blowing Iris 458q
Dear All, this is my second Lava androd mobile in last 3 months. First one was IRIS 501 brought in month of March and working well wothout any problems. The way my child is using 501 for his gamming passion and the way he used it, i was worried that this indian mobile will stop working in one month, but surprisely it's perfome excellent and i decided to buy 4.5 inch size 458q for my routin work. Awesome smartphone Dad....as my teenage son says(LAVA IRIS 458Q).
I've been using a Lava Iris 501 since June'2013 & hence had no doubts or apprehensions about lava . To go for another smartphone was one basic criterion IE: A quad core, Android 4.2.1 Jelly bean. Amongst the good Indian players in the fray, i eventually came to choosing Lava Iris 458Q as against MMX, Karbonn & Xolo q700.
Without going on to technicalities, simple pros & cons, as i see them on Lava Iris 458Q.

Value for money!!!
I'm updating my review by using this phone for past 7 months.undoubtedly this phone become popular and also lead beyond to my exceptions. The specifications as given in flipkart is correct.
pros:-
1. 8 mp camera
2. 1.2 ghz quad core media tek MTK6589 as well as powervx sgx 544 have great graphics .
3. supports High end games such as Asphalt 7,8, Blood glory, NFS, GTA....
Cons:-
1. Some times battery get heat while using, but it can be easily recoverd
Tips:- a. Charge atleast 6 hrs in firs...

I am writing this review after using the mobile during two days as I really wanted to put it through the paces before I gave my judgement.

good at affordable price
phone is good & attractive & you cant find so many features at this price. but i am giving one less star due to hanging of set during game play. every time I have to remove back cover & battery due to hanging
Also game stops automatically while play, I dont know why, but thats very irritating.
Otherwise flipkart service was awesomeeee. got phone within 24 hours of order. keep it up.

Sometime value for money is good choice
My first smart phone was Samsung Galaxy s5650 Lindy at 10,000 Rs. it Lasted for 1.5 yrs and then it's touch screen gave up, after repairing it from Samsung center, i sold it due to it's unpredictable touch response even after repair. I bought Samsung Galexy Fit in Sept 2011 at 11,000 Rs.

Some persons don't believe that Brand LAVA .... But from my point of view, after using Lava (Models: ARC04, iris N350 & finally iris 458Q), it shall be great brand value in future market.....

Super Phone at a Super Price!!!
Received this phone today.
Pros:
Processor: Excellent (Can play frontline commando, modern combat 2, speed racer, temple run without any lag)
OS: Superb interface. Google does make the interface real simple(Latest)
Camera: very good (Face Detection, Auto Focus, Panorama Shot, Zoom, HD Recording)
Video quality: awesome
Battery: good (10 hours (3G)
Display: Nice
Cost: great phone in this price range.
Cons:
Memory: Extra memory should have been provided.
Only one color availability
