How do you make a non-believer accept the power of love? Directed by Marc Webb and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zooey Deschanel and Geoffrey Arend, 500 Days of Summer is a romantic comedy-drama that follows a young man who aspires to become an architect but meanwhile works as a greeting card writer to make a living. Witnessing the beauty and the common interests shared by him and the secretary of his boss, he falls head over heels for her. However, the girl of his dreams doesn’t believe that true love exists and the protagonist's endeavour seems to be a long shot.

As good as it gets!

Sure, this genre is over exploited, but the vibrance and sheer charm of 500 Days of summer separates it from its typical & predictable contemporaries. Amazing performances from Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt make this a highly engaging experience. 'Tom Hansen' is a character that can easily be related to and his feelings and reactions are wonderfully depicted. Go for it! It's quirky, funny and romantic.
