Ek Jind Ek Jaan is the story of Sukha (Raj Babbar), who brings up his two brothers and sister and step-brothers Karma (Aryan Vaid) and Channi (Mighty Gill) and sister Guddi (Parbleen). When Sukha was 20, his step mother also died, and he had to the responsibility of bringing up his siblings. He fell in love with Gurjit (Ritu Shivpuri), but did not marry her since she was skeptical about accepting his family. The film is a complete family entertainer, portraying the different relationships among the family members.
