Very good laptop
I bought this laptop on 26-Dec-2013 with price Rs. 20,990. This laptop is very good not only for basic users. it's also best fit to mid-advance users. Have installed Ubuntu and Windows 7 dual boot since this laptop doesnt come up with a OS.
Pros:
Battery life is pretty ok with ~5 hours of single charge.
Sounds fair for viewing movies and songs
LED screen is a plus
Chicklet key board and track pad is a big plus

Great laptop for the price tag
Got this laptop delivered as promised by Flipkart. The laptop arrived with all factory sealed packaging. I installed Windows 8 from a DVD and it installed seamlessly without having to download any drivers from the Lenovo website. Later I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro.
Since I'm a new Windows 8.1 user from Windows 7 I'm enjoying the new UI and the experience.
The laptop performance is quick. Initially I wanted to upgrade this to 8 GB RAM. I will however defer the decision now at a later point...

Value for money notebook. Drivers are pain to install.
Awesome notebook at this price - perhaps the best looking at the relatively larger screen size.
The drivers were a pain to install in the beginning as the disk provided along with the laptop didn't have updated drivers and the biggest pain is that Lenovo gives you a 1000 drivers to choose from online.
Lenovo doesn't even help you in finding the right driver for you as may be they themselves are unclear. Finally after trying out 10 different drivers for WLAN (Wireless LAN/Wi-fi), got the suit...

Good Buy at decent price
I installed windows 7 ultimate OS.
When i downloaded installed audio driver corresponding to windows 7 from lenevo website, i am getting error as"Audio Driver is designed for Windows Vista only".

Very Slow operating speed
All the positive feedbacks are from new buyers. But I have this machine for nearly 4 months now.
The processor claims to be of 2.2 GHz cycle speed. But when I copy a couple of movies (around 2GB) from my harddisk to a pendrive and if I am watching a movie in the fore-ground the movie will flicker n became slow till the copy finished in the background. So I have to do nothing till the copy finishes.
The system was working fine for few weeks but started showing slow performance eventually. ...
