The video game was developed by Sega Studios Australia and published by Sega. The video game allows the use of the Kinect Sensor. This is very helpful addition as you need not use any controller to play the game. In the single-player campaign you can choose from over 30 national teams and attempt to win events for them. All the events have 2 rounds: qualifiers and finals. To win a medal you have to qualify for the finals and you can only do this by winning the qualifier round first. There is another mode in the game known as the Event mode that allows your pick events as you want.
The addition of Kinect feature allows you to have more fun as you can even have an exercise session while playing the games.
