The ultimate budget beast

I've been using the 16 GB Moto G for around 15 days now and my review is based on the same. It's slightly lengthy but it'll help clear a lot of doubts regarding the phone.

Before I detail the pros and cons, I'm writing a few tips to help people-

Tips-

1)In case you allow the phone's battery to completely drain and then the phone does not come on after charging, it does not mean your phone is faulty!
It's a failsafe built in by Motorola.
Solution-
Leave the phone in a cool, dry place-like ...

Moto G < Google Nexus 4 < Google Nexus 5

Battery - 4.5/5
When charged full, Wifi on, no SIM inside - It got discharged after 1 day 20 hours. This includes 40% stand by time, 60% other usage. I think its a decent battery performance though havent checked with 3G signal.

Looks/design - 4/5
Handy - the first word that comes to my mind. But there is one design flaw - it will take courage for new buyer to open the back cover.

Built - 5/5
Throw it at someone, believe me you are going hospitalize him. Can be used as a mobile and as ...

SUPER duper delivery by FLipkart

It is a superb phone. A no nonsense phone with all the necessary ammunition required.
Battery is quite good. Comes to around 25 to 30 hrs with moderate to high use.
Screen is awesome. camera has to be used in HDR mode with minimum shake to get very good pics. The headset provided is good for calling but not ok for listening to music. Supports pendrive that can be used along with an adapter. The red back which I bought along with the phone suits it well. Couldnt buy flip cover. Happy with the ...

Excellent screen and speed...

Excellent to have latest version of OS 4.2.2

Few thing that new buyer should taken note...

+ Instrument is somewhat heavy in weight...
+ Gets warm during game play and continuous surfing..
+ Speaker quality could be better...

Keeping above points in mind,,,

Good Phone but some problems

There are a ton of reviews on this site so i am just going to state a few things i personally observed about this phone.

Pros -

1. The Battery. In general i managed to get an average of around 16 hours of battery life with heavy use. Which is good, considering the 2070 mAh battery on the inside..

2. The Processing Power - With the combination of the snapdragon 400 and near stock android, it flies through almost all applications, given some games do tend to lag a bit. (GTA: VC, GTA:SA - ...

Good buy, little to learn.

Looks are good. Slim and comfortable. Card slots and battery arrangement is also good.
It needs MicroSim is a small issue in case of sim card flexibility required.
Data cable should have been provided. Ear phones are not as standard as expected. Plastic white look and noise control could be better. White accessories with black accessories is no match.
Performance is best in all touch screen androids till now. It doesn't restart abnormally, it opens MS-Office documents smoother than other andr...

Moto G Detailed Review

ordered a 16 GB Moto G through flipkart with one day delivery guarantee, got it in 5 days! (Though some of my friends got it the next day with normal delivery option). But, finally it costed me Rs. 13,999 only!
secure packaging (thanks to WS Retail) with bubble packed carton!

was pre upgraded to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat! pre loaded with almost no bloatwares. The only two inbuilt apps from the Motorola were Motorola Migrate and Moto Assist (Assist being very useful instead)

The power and volume ...

Rs. 13999? It's totally worth it

I received this phone today and man does it look gorgeous. One of the best Android phones in the market at this price point.

I have been using this phone for about a day and have some things to tell.

Staring with the good things.

1) It has a beautiful LCD panel. It's an above average, 720p IPS panel with 329 ppi and great viewing angles. The iPhone has 326 ppi.
2) The phone fits in the hand and doesn't feel its going to fall off. It has a good rubber grip on the back unless you change th...

Awsome phone!!

I am using this phone since a month and the phone is simply superb...
Pros:
I have installed big games like Asphalt 8,Dead Trigger 2 and six guns there is no lag at all...You can enjoy those games in the stunning HD display...Kitkat update saves your battery like anything...You can connect your pen drive through an USB OTG cable so dont worry that this phone lacks an micro SD slot...Just go for it...Camera is also good if there is better lighting

Cons:
The accessories(charger and headphone) ...
