Set in a future where robot boxing is a sought after sport, Real Steel follows an ex-boxer named Charlie Kenton who makes a living by putting together low-end bots from scrap metal. When Charlie’s career reaches the worst point possible, he teams up with the 11-year-old son he never knew he had and builds a robot to compete in a boxing championship that could set Charlie and his son’s life straight.
