    About Reinhold Ludwig

    Reinhold Ludwig is a Professor in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts. His research areas include electromagnetic and acoustic nondestructive evaluation (NDE), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) coil design, electromagnetic theory, ultrasonic wave modeling and EMAT transducers.  He has published many works in several international journals and conferences including International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Honolulu; IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation,  IEEE Ultrasonics Symposium, Journal of Measurement Science and Technology, Journal of Nondestructive Evaluation and Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
    Reinhold Ludwig completed his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wuppertal, Germany in 1983 and obtained his Ph.D., in Electrical Engineering from the Colorado State University, USA.  He currently holds the position of the Director of RF Instrumentation and Imaging Laboratory at Worcester Polytechnic Institute along with his responsibilities as a Professor in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering; and the department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering in the university. He has involved himself extensively in the areas of Electromagnetic and acoustic Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE), Electromagnetic/ acoustic sensors, electromechanical device modeling, Piezoelectric array transducers, and Optimization methods for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). He has been awarded Joseph S.Satin Distinguished Fellow in Electrical Engineering, Best Teacher Award in 1996 and he holds the distinguish honors as the Senior Member IEEE and Electromagnetics Academy.

    Good book, bad packing

    Book is very good. Problem is it was not packed well. Not even a plastic wrap to protect it from moisture / water. Also the cover was slightly torn.
