Falling in love with a criminal might not be as bad as one might imagine, hopefully. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Highway is a Hindi romantic drama film which stars Alia Bhatt, Randeep Hooda and Durgesh Kumar. The plot of this fascinating and unconventional flick follows a young woman who is kidnapped by a criminal and held for ransom. However, her reaction to the kidnapper’s presence is bizarre. The woman begins to develop feelings for her captor - a condition which is also known as Stockholm syndrome.
